    Indian actor

    Sujay Reu (born 6 June 1989) is an Indian actor who mainly works in Hindi television. Reu made his acting debut with Ram Milaayi Jodi, playing Anukalp Gandhi. He is best known for his portrayal of Kishan Kapadia in Alaxmi Ka Super Parivaar and Bharata in Siya Ke Ram. Reu earned wider recognition with his portrayal of Rama/Vishnu in Shrimad Ramayan.[1]

    Reu made his acting debut in 2011, with Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, portraying Anukalp Gandhi opposite Sara Khan.[2] For his performance, he received Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face - Male nomination.[3]

    From 2012 to 2013, he played Kishan Kapadia, opposite Helly Shah in Alaxmi Ka Super Parivaar.[4] Then, Reu portrayed Rohan Pandey in Shastri Sisters, opposite Neha Pednekar.[5]

    Reu portrayed Bharata opposite Prithvi Hatte in Siya Ke Ram, from 2015 to 2016.[6] From 2018 to 2019, he portrayed Kartik in Tantra.[7]

    From 2021 to 2022, Reu portrayed Lord Vishnu in Baal Shiv – Mahadev Ki Andekhi Gatha, opposite Vandana Rao and Deepika Upadhyay.[8] In 2023, he portrayed Manvendra "Maan" Barot in Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum.[9]

    In today’s time, while many actors recognise the significance of social media in fostering a strong connection with their audience, sharing updates, and building a strong fan base, Sujay Reu has chosen to stay away from this demanding medium. He says, “I am a low-profile person and not a fan of social media. It hasn’t managed to charm me yet. Some find it hard to believe and think I might have an anonymous account to follow people! I don’t need to browse Instagram profiles or pictures of those I admire; I can gather the information I need about them on the internet (smiles). Besides, I feel there is a lot of toxicity on social media, and staying away from contributes to my mental and physical well-being.”
