Paolo Valenciano marries childhood sweetheart Sam Godinez
Childhood friends turned lovers and now, lifetime partners, Paolo Valenciano and Sam Godinez tied the knot last February 7, at the Manila Polo Club.
It will be remembered that eight months ago, the eldest son of Gary Valenciano and Angeli Pangilinan proposed to Sam in California.
THE PROPOSAL. Last June 15, , Paolo proposed to his girlfriend of six years during the concert of his dad at Pechanga Resort and Casino in California.
Paolo took the spotlight and started saying thank you to the lady who changed him.
His memorable lines: “She always complains that I never talk, I don’t care, I never tell her how I feel.
“Tonight, I want to let everybody here know how I feel.
“She’s given me the best six years of my life.
“It has changed me a lot.”
He slowly approached Sam, who was then seated at the audience area, and pronounced, “You are the one I want to spend my life with.”

He continued, “Sam, I want to wake up every morning seeing your face and I want you to nag me every night, ask me where I am. And I want to make lots of little Paolos and little Sams.
